Light a Vigil Votive

Receive hope and peace with each vigil votive you light by entrusting your prayer requests, your problems, and your sorrows to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.

We consider it an honor to light a weekly or annual vigil votive for you in the Basilica and Chapel of the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.

"With the light of faith, we implore St. Elizabeth Ann Seton to pray for us and with us. The votive light burns as a constant prayer to God, reminding Him of our love and petitions."

Request Weekly Votives

Your votive will be lit and your intentions placed on the altar of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton for seven days.

These intentions will be remembered in all of the Masses and prayers offered in the shrine during this time.

A tax-deductible donation of $25 per votive light is requested; donations of more than $25 are gratefully accepted.

Annual Memorial Votive Lights

Your votive will be lit and inscribed with your special intention or remembrance for one year.

A tax-deductible donation of $150 per votive light is requested; donations of more than $150 are gratefully accepted.
