Novenas

Novena Schedule

Four nine-day Novenas of Masses are offered in the Basilica of the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton during the year. Your prayer intentions will be offered during the following Masses and placed at the foot of St. Elizabeth Ann’s altar of relics.

• Masses are held daily at 1:30 p.m. during the Novena.
• Easter Novena of Masses begins on Easter Sunday, April 8 and concludes on Monday, April 16, 2012.
• Mother's Day Novena of Masses begins on Sunday, May 13 and concludes on Monday, May 21, 2012.
• St. Elizabeth Ann Seton's Birthday Novena of Masses begins on Sunday, August 26 and concludes on Monday, September 3, 2012.
• All Soul's Day Novena of Masses begins on November 2 and concludes on Thursday, November 10
• Christmas Novena of Masses begins on December 27 and concludes on January 4 (St. Elizabeth Ann's Feast Day)

Seton Heritage Ministries also offers an annual Spiritual Remembrance Novena. Your prayer intentions will be placed at the foot of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s altar of relics for one year. Daily prayers will be said by the Sisters and associates of Seton Heritage Ministries.
