Group Visits

Guided tours leave from the Visitor Center that is located below the Basilica (next to the statue of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton). Reservations are required for groups of 15 or more. Please plan to spend two hours visiting in order to appreciate the complete experience!

Friendly and helpful Seton Way Guides are available for tours every hour from 10 am to 3 pm Tuesday through Sunday. The tour takes you to all the sacred and historical sites: the Stone House, White House, Seton Legacy Garden, and St. Jospeh's Cemetery and Mortuary Chapel.  Your group will also have ample time to visit the Basilica where Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton is buried. There is also plenty of time to visit the Seton Heritage Museum to see a brief movie on the life and legacy of Mother Seton, and to visit the Seton Heritage Shoppe for exclusive Mother Seton gifts.

In addition to our regular tour, we now offer a Civil War historical tour, Miracles Amid the Fire Storm. Take a guided tour to learn how the the Sisters and Daughters of Charity served the soldiers during the war that divided our nation, and visit the site where Union officers conducted a war council to prepare for the battle of Gettysburg. Hear first hand accounts of rescues, healing, and yes, even miracles on the battlefield. Miracles Amid the Fire Storm is offered on Fridays and Saturdays at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm until November 17. Contact bbassler@setonheritage.org for more information.

In addition to offering a guided tour, Seton Heritage Ministries can plan for you to attend a regularly scheduled Mass in the Basilica, schedule a private Mass if you have a priest who wishes to celebrate Mass for your group; and even make arrangements for your group to receive a box lunch on the go or dine at a recommended local restaurant (see "Nearby Attractions").

Church, school, tour, and bus groups are welcome!
