Directions/Maps
Seton Heritage Ministries and the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton are easily accessed along Route 15 in the beautiful rolling hills of Emmitsburg, Maryland, within an hour's drive of major metropolitan areas.
From Baltimore
Take I-695 (Beltway) Exit 20 to I-795 to MD 140 and Westminster. Follow MD 140 to Emmitsburg. Turn left at the town square. Drive approximately one-quarter mile to the Seton Shrine, located on the left.
From Washington, D.C.
Take I-495 (Beltway), then Exit I-270 to Frederick, and exit onto U.S. 15 north (22 miles) to Emmitsburg. Turn left at South Seton Avenue exit, and turn right at approximately one mile from highway.
From Pittsburgh
From the PA Turnpike Interstate 76 East, take the Gettysburg exit 17 to Rte. 15 South for 40 miles. Exit Rte. 15 at North Seton Avenue. At the traffic light, drive straight onto South Seton Avenue. Turn left at the second entrance to St. Joseph's Provincial House and take the first left to park in the Seton Shrine Visitor Center parking lot.
From Pennsylvania
Drive south on U.S. 15 to Emmitsburg. Turn right at the first exit on Business 15 (blinking light), and go straight through town square, one-quarter mile to Seton Shrine on left. (Emmitsburg is 10 miles south of Gettysburg, PA).
